-
Legalized by the Polish consulate/embassy in the country where the document was issued, or
-
Issued with an apostille (if the issuing country is a party to the Hague Convention).
Documents not meeting this requirement will not be accepted for final enrollment or for recognition by Polish authorities.
Based on the evaluation, the documents will receive one of the following statuses:
-
“Accepted” – The candidate proceeds to the entrance exam.
-
“Rejected” – The candidate receives an automatic notification of refusal.
Note: The first part of the registration fee is non-refundable.
Step 3 – Entrance Exam & Verification of Language Proficiency
Candidates will receive access to the exam topics and must take the online entrance exam (including language proficiency) within 14 days.
Maximum 2 attempts allowed.
-
If the first attempt is unsuccessful, the candidate may retake the exam within 7 days.
-
If both attempts are unsuccessful, the application is rejected, and the candidate is no longer eligible to reapply for the current intake.
The registration fee is non-refundable in this case.
Candidates who pass the entrance exam proceed to:
-
An entrance interview. Each candidate will receive a link to a calendar where they can choose a suitable time for the interview. Depending on the number of applicants, the waiting time may vary from 2 weeks up to a month.
Each of these is conducted only once.
In exceptional cases, candidates may request a retake of the written or oral exam. The final decision on whether a retake is granted rests with the Admission Committee.
Step 4 – First Semester Tuition Fee Payment
Candidates who have successfully passed the entrance exam and language assessment will receive:

Order for Payment of the First Semester Fee,
-
Order for Payment second part of the registration fee,
-
And the application status will be updated to: “Awaiting payment”
The candidate must pay within the designated deadline (officially 14 working days) and upload the proof of payment in the application portal.

Admission fee status will be updated to : “Complete payment received“
Step 5 – Recognition of Educational Documents by NAWA
If you already have a diploma recognition decision issued by the Superintendent of Education (Kurator oświaty), then the NAWA recognition process is not required for such candidates.
If the candidate’s educational documents require official recognition for the purpose of higher education in Poland, the Candidate has the right to request the Academy’s support and mediation in the process of obtaining the required documents , provided that the full admission fee has been paid.
Upon the Candidate’s request, the Academy compiles and submits the appropriate application to NAWA in order to obtain a written statement from the Director of NAWA regarding the certificate or other document presented by the Candidate, confirming their eligibility to apply for admission to studies.
The Academy undertakes to submit the appropriate application to NAWA within 7 days from the date the Candidate provides all the required documents.
ATTENTION: The Academy’s mediation in this process does not imply the possibility of admission to studies without obtaining the documents and bears no responsibility for delays in obtaining a written statement from the Director of NAWA.
-
Once the documents sent to NAWA , the status will be updated to “Application Submitted“
ATTENTION: The recognition process by NAWA can take up to 60 days. Please plan accordingly, as this is a required step before full enrollment .
After receiving a positive recognition decision from NAWA, the application status will be updated to:
“Eligible”.
At this stage, the candidate will receive the contract and application form for signature. The following documents must be signed by hand (legibly).
If NAWA issues a negative decision, the status will change to: “Ineligible”
In such cases, the tuition fee may be refunded according to the Refund Policy (available on the Academy’s website).
To begin the refund process, the candidate should email: refund@g.wszia.opole.pl.
Note: The registration fee (both parts) is non-refundable.
Step 6 – Signing the Contract and Dispatch of Documents
Once the signed documents are received, the Academy will prepare the complete admission package in 14 working days , which includes all documents required to begin studies and apply for a student visa to Poland.
-
Application status will be updated : “Full offer / Visa documents ready for pick up”
-
Original documents may be sent to the address indicated by the Candidate upon their request.
The Academy covers the cost of shipping only once and exclusively via Poczta Polska (the Polish Post), to an address located within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
- In all other cases, the responsibility for the entire shipping process rests with the Candidate. If the Candidate chooses any method of document shipment other than that specified , the courier must collect the documents directly from the Academy’s International Office during its working hours.
- Failure to notify the Academy’s International Office within a timeframe that allows proper preparation of the documents for shipment, or failure to provide sufficient information necessary for the shipment, may result in shipment failure, for which the Academy bears no responsibility.

Enrollment on the student list is conditional upon the Candidate fulfilling all of the following requirements:
1)successful completion of all previous stages of the recruitment process;
2)personal appearance at the Academy’s International Office before the start of the semester , namely by September 15, 2026; presentation of the complete set of original documents .
